Frequently asked questions
How does RepTimer work?
Set an Action duration and a Rest duration in Settings. Press GO — the Action timer counts down, and the moment it ends the Rest timer starts automatically. Turn on looping to repeat the cycle as many times as you like.
What are the green and yellow colors?
The ring is green during the Action (work) phase and yellow during the Rest phase, so a single glance tells you where you are.
What is the metronome?
During each Action phase, a metronome plays and gradually speeds up, automatically stretched to match your Action length so the pace peaks right as the interval ends.
Can I pause during a session?
Yes. Tap the button to pause, tap again to resume from exactly where you left off. While paused, press and hold the button to reset the run.
Will it alert me if my phone is locked?
Yes. If you allow notifications, RepTimer alerts you at each phase change and when the session ends, even when the app is in the background or your device is locked.
Does RepTimer collect any data?
No. RepTimer has no accounts, no ads, and no tracking, and it does not connect to the internet. See the Privacy Policy for details.
